| Summer 2010 | ||||
| Celebration Afternoon - Monday, 12th July at the Tom Stoppard Theatre This will start at 1.30pm. Please could all children be collected from the Tom Stoppard Theatre; it will finish at approx. 3.15pm. We shall bring back to school any children who are collected by after school clubs. If your child is bringing a packed lunch that day could you please send it in a plastic carrier bag so that the children don't have to carry lunch boxes to the Theatre. Also could book bags be left at home too please? All children who learn to play a musical instrument at school will be performing so please bring your instruments on Monday morning. We shall also be having a practice this Wednesday afternoon 7th July, so could you all please bring your instruments that day too. |

| Sports Day - Thursday, 15th July (16th if 15th is wet) Our morning sports will start at 10am and will last approximately 1½ hours. The children will need their P.E. kit - shorts, t-shirt and plimsolls or trainers. Could you also make sure your child has suncream on and a hat/cap. The afternoon session will start at 1.15pm - this will be traditional, competitive sports. Should the event finish before 3.35pm, the children may go home with parents/carers attending - please inform the class teacher before you take them. |

| Leavers' Disco - Thursday, 15th July The P.T.A. has generously organised a leavers' disco which will take place in St. Mary and St. Joseph's Church Hall. The times are: 6.30 – 7.30pm for R, Y1 and Y2 children; 7.30 – 8.30pm for Y3-6. The cost per child is £1.50. As there is not a lot of room in the Church Hall, could you please drop off your child and leave a contact telephone number with the PTA members who are supervising. |

| 'Peter Pan' - Tuesday, 20th July and Wednesday 21st July at BURNBY HALL Tuesday’s performance will be in school time, starting at 2pm. Please could all children be collected from Burnby Hall at 3.45pm? Please let the school know if any child is going to an after school club and arrangements will be made. Wednesday’s performance will begin at 6pm. Children involved need to arrive between 5.45pm and 5.55pm in costume. The performance will finish at approximately 7.45pm. Unfortunately, there is no parking in Burnby Hall grounds. Tickets cost £1 each and will be available from the school office from Monday, 12th July. |

| Friday November 20th | Children in Need Day. Children can wear their own clothes with a spotty or stripy theme with a donation of 50p, also we will fill a huge Pudsey Bear with coppers. In addition our Kitchen staff are making Pudsey Bear Biscuits which will be on sale at break-time for 40p each. Thank you in advance for all your donations to this very worthy cause. | |||
